When 1248, formerly Bicknell Family Holdings, was looking for a new home for their team, they wanted to create a space that would show their Employees what “Return To Work” looked like. The team at 1248 were very familiar with our firm. The DIRTT Construction System is deployed at their former home, Mariner Wealth Advisors Corporate Headquarters in Overland Park, Ks. 1248 wanted to build and create a space for their employees to work, play and interact with one another.
Built set out to do this by leveraging the creativeness of DIRTT’s engineering by embedding technology, artwork, wrapping walls with veneer and fabric, also using a combination of solid and glass walls, all while future-proofing the space for long-term adaptability.

“How do we incite people to want to come back [when they can work remote].” We wanted to build and create a space for our employees to work, play and interact with one another. “This was such a fun, challenging and rewarding project.” The space is inviting and everything we wanted.
